How to play Scorpion Solitaire
Open Scorpion Solitaire, check the instructions and begin a round. Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. Look at what changes after your first action. Read the objective before making your first input. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.
Seven columns; three stock cards dealt once to the first three columns. Free solo play, no wagering.
Build a steady rhythm
Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round. Make the next step deliberately.
Your goal
Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Notice how the game responds to your input.
Step by step
- Move a face-up card with its tail onto the next higher same-suit rank. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Controls
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Return to the rules if the result is unexpected.
A useful example
The trailing cards may be unordered, but the destination suit and rank must match. Compare this with the rule that governs the move. Choose a deliberate next step.
Watch out for this
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Compare the situation with the worked example. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
