How to play Maze Adventure

Make Maze Adventure your next activity in the game library. Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Identify the playing area and the controls you need. Look at what changes after your first action.

A useful comparison

Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Use the example to check your reasoning.

Your goal

Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Read that aim before choosing your first action. The example below illustrates a decision.

Step by step

  1. Start from the upper-left cell.
  2. Move through openings using arrow keys or direction buttons.
  3. You may also tap a neighbouring cell connected by an open passage.
  4. Reach the gold exit or generate a new maze.

Controls

Arrow keys, on-screen direction buttons, or a click/tap on an adjacent reachable cell. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Check any mode label before starting.

A useful example

If a wall blocks the cell to your right, try another opening; the token cannot move through walls. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Notice the change in the playing area.

Watch out for this

Only immediately adjacent cells can be reached in one move. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
