How to play Block Puzzle

Read the aim of Block Puzzle, then make your first move. Place pieces and clear rows/columns until no offered shape fits. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Choose a comfortable screen position before beginning. Look at what changes after your first action.

Place shapes on an 8×8 board and clear full lines. The round ends when none of the current shapes fits.

Build a steady rhythm

Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round. Notice the feedback after each input.

Your goal

Place pieces and clear rows/columns until no offered shape fits. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Review the board or playing area as it changes.

Step by step

  1. Select a shape.
  2. Select its top-left board position.
  3. Clear full rows and columns.
  4. Use all three offered pieces to receive a new set.

Controls

Select a piece, then a board cell. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Avoid pressing the same control repeatedly while a move is being processed.

A useful example

One placement can clear both a row and a column. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Take a moment to compare.

Watch out for this

Pieces cannot rotate in this edition. Compare the situation with the worked example. Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention.
