How to play Air Hockey

Review a difficult moment
When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round. Keep the objective visible.
Your goal
Score seven goals before the computer. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Return to the instructions when a step is unclear.
Step by step
- Start.
- Move your mallet within the lower half.
- Strike toward the upper goal.
- Goals reset the puck.
Controls
Mouse/touch movement or Left/Right controls. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.
A useful example
An angled hit can bank off a side wall. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Look for the relevant detail.
Watch out for this
You cannot move into the computer’s half. Compare the situation with the worked example. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
